swedish massage
The foundation of many massages (including sports and deep tissue), Swedish massage uses firm gliding strokes moving blood and lymph fluid towards the heart to loosen muscles and relieve stress.
hot stone massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation. Learn more about what to expect from a hot stone massage.
deep tissue massage
Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to loosen both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.
trigger point massage
Trigger point therapy focuses on the release of tension around specific nerve centers found throughout your body. It is great for relieving cramped and overused muscles. We work with you to determine areas of focus.
cupping massage
Massage Cupping is a modern adaptation of the ancient art of cupping therapy. While massage performed by applying pressure, cupping instead uses negative pressure to pull, lift, open and expand the body’s soft tissues.
sports massage
Sports massage uses a variety of massage techniques designed to help your body feel freer and stronger. Depending on the sports activity you do the most, your massage therapist will work with you to develop a massage therapy plan that fits best with your training regimen.
prenatal massage
Pregnancy massage focused on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Cushions, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.
oncology massage
Designed for people with cancer histories or in cancer treatments currently. It provides an ideal setting to help calm the stress, fear, and anxiety associated with a cancer diagnosis. This massage has the potential to help reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation.
